Scrapping a Furnace for Maximum Profit: A Comprehensive Guide
Let’s jump into the process of scrapping a furnace, where we’ll cover how to do it and tips for maximizing profit at your local scrap yard. What metals/materials from a furnace can be scrapped? Furnaces comprise various parts and metals that can be recycled at a scrap yard. While specific components like small plastic parts, ducts, and most
Tyre pyrolysis oil uses. Directly used as fuel oil– Tyre pyrolysis oil has a high heating value (10592.48 Kcal/kg), making it a direct replacement for fuel oil in industrial or boiler heating systems, such as those in cement plants, steel plants, glass plants, and other similar facilities.

How to Convert Scrap Tires into Biofuel, EcoMENA
It is estimated that more than half of the scrap tires generated yearly are used as TDF. With its high heat value, scrap tires are an excellent fuel source. Consider that the heating value of an average passenger tire can go up to 15,000 British thermal units (Btu) per pound, which is even better than the 12,000Btu per pound of coal.
Pyrolysis is a promising technology to extract energy from the waste tyre via converting into useful products i.e. tyre pyrolysis oil (TPO), pyro-gas and solid char. TPO, a dark brown/black colored liquid is used as a fuel in compression ignition (CI) engines, industrial furnaces and power plants etc.

[Explainer] Why are waste tyres a growing environmental concern?
Pyrolysis is the chemical decomposition of organic material at elevated temperatures in the absence of oxygen. The tyre pyrolysis process generates 40% oil, 33% carbon char and 15-20% steel wire. The oil generated or TPO is used as an alternative to fuel furnaces. It is most commonly used in making hot mixes for road laying.
furnace fuel. However, there is a limit on how many STs can be recycled in this way. fuel and other oil-based products [4]. In addition, the tyres are a high-energy material that justifies the
