The used oil sample will be bought in big batches for easy convenience to transport. We took both used sunflower oil and coconut oil separately. The collected used oil then labelled for easy detection on Figure 1 (Used Cooking Oil (UCO)) Filtration Of UCO The collected used oil samples needed to be filtered as it

Biodiesel Production from Waste Cooking Oil
In spite of several positive effects such as non-toxic, biodegradable, and renewable nature made biodiesel to be a reliable substitute to diesel fuel (Imtenan et al., 2014;Jeyakumar et al., 2022b).
The results of the present study demonstrated that 1 h of reaction and a temperature of 25 °C (which can be considered as an ambient temperature and therefore does not require energy expenditure) present the optimum conditions for the production of biodiesel from sunflower oil and give a high yield (95.28 %).

Production of Biodiesel from used Cooking Oil, IJIRST
waste oil is termed as second –used cooking oil can also be utilized by converting to biodiesel. Infact, using waste vegetable oil reduces the need for biodiesel-producing crops and the competition with food. UCOs have different properties from those of refined and crude vegetable oils .The chemical and physical properties of WCO
The fuel properties of sunflower oil biodiesel were determined and discussed in the light of ASTM D6751 standards for biodiesel. The sunflower oil biodiesel was chemically characterized with

Sunflower oil deodorizer distillate as novel feedstock
An economical way to reduce oil consumption and environmental problems in fuel production is the production of biodiesel from by-products and waste materials. By-products from the vegetable oil refining industry such as soap stock, acid oil, and fatty acid distillates are suitable for biodiesel production. In this study, biodiesel production was made using deodorizer distillate, which is the
Research on producing biodiesel from leftover cooking oil has increased due to a constant increase in demand for renewable energy sources and the necessity of sustainable waste management. If spent cooking oil is left out in the open, it can cause a number of environmental issues. In this study, a transesterification technique is used to try and convert used cooking oil which is gathered from
- How to make biodiesel from sunflower oil?
- The production of biodiesel from sunflower oil was catalyzed heterogeneously, with reaction temperature and time being 65 °C for 2.0 h, methanol to oil molar ratio of 5:1 and 5% catalyst concentration with biodiesel yield obtained being 86.9%.
- Is sunflower oil a good raw material for biodiesel production?
- From a chemical reaction perspective, sunflower oil from natural sources is the leading primary raw material beneficial to biodiesel production, as the pure triglycerides conversion to fatty acid methyl ester is not only high but also with relatively short reaction time advantage [ 5 ].
- Can sunflower oil deodorizer distillate reduce the cost of biodiesel production?
- In our study, the use of sunflower oil deodorizer distillate (SODD) is important in terms of reducing the cost of biodiesel production because of lower cost than oils and formed in high amounts as a by-product of refining in oil factories.
- Can a green catalyst be used in biodiesel production from sunflower oil?
- The energy equivalent and efficiencies of CGL, KGL and NGL as a catalyst in biodiesel production from sunflower oil were investigated depend on average input-output data from the various research paper of natural sources to synthesis the green catalyst and its utilisation in biodiesel production.
- Can sunflower oil be used for biofuel production?
- The residues of the sunflower crop are inexpensive and widely available substrates. These waste streams are typically burned or even left unused, creating serious environmental issues. In the present study, sunflower oil and its residues are used for biofuel production in the biorefinery framework.
- Is sunflower a good candidate for sustainable biodiesel standards?
- These continuity trends make sunflower a good candidate for sustainable biodiesel standards, which indicate that sunflower could be directly involved in biodiesel market. In other words, the continuous production trends of sunflower oil could justify that it could be used for both food and renewable fuel.
