We are a party to the world manufacturer of green oil. The current value of the Facility is the region of MYR100 million consisting of a 134,000 metric tons refinery and a 120,000 metric tons bio-diesel plant sited on a 4,047 hectares land At Kawasan Perindustrian Tanjung Langsat, Pasir Gudang, Johor, Malaysia.
Based on current data, 63 % of total coal consumed in Malaysia is imported from Indonesia, of which about 92 % is used in coal-fired power plants and 7 % by energy-intensive industries.

Through PORAM, palm oil refiners in Malaysia can act collectively and in unison to ensure that the Government understands and recognizes the needs and problems of the industry at all times. PORAM is represented in the relevant Government bodies, among which are: Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC)
The palm oil refining in Malaysia emerged in the country’s industrial scene on a large scale only in 1974. Prior to this time, only a few factories were refining about 10% of the country’s total crude palm oil production. As such, virtually all the crude palm oil produced was exported.

- IOI Corporation Berhad (IOI) owns two palm oil refineries in Malaysia. They are located at Pasir Gudang and Sandakan respectively. Their combined annual refining capacity is about 1,800,000 MT.

- Some of its process units are unique to the refinery, with technologies applied for the first time in Malaysia. For example, its two-train residual fluid catalytic cracker (RFCC) unit uses Axens technology, a first in Malaysian oil refining.
